My name is Matilda Bäckström and I opened Snygg Hair Studio in July 2019. Snygg is a Swedish word and means handsome or good looking. I grew up in Sweden and left it to live in Australia when I was in my early 20's to settle with the love of my life. Today we are blessed with two beautiful children and a house next to the beach.
With over 12 years of experience working in both Stockholm, Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast I have finally fulfilled my biggest dream; to own my own salon. I am extremely passionate about hair and making people feel beautiful inside and out. I am a good listener and always want to make sure to create the style that speaks You.
